A free “AI Training ROI Simulator” has been launched to quantify the ROI of AI training in 3 minutes, an issue also identified by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Users can estimate annual value created and the payback period with just 8 inputs.
PERSOL INNOVATION announced the launch of a free simulation service, “AI Training ROI Simulator,” offered through its ビルスピカンパニー business, which enables users to estimate the investment impact of AI training in a short time. The service was developed in response to the challenge that companies find it difficult to quantify and explain the impact of investments in AI talent development as generative AI becomes more widely adopted.
With 8 inputs covering factors such as industry, job type and the number of people targeted, the service estimates annual value created, ROI and the payback period, as well as the scope for AI adoption and priority tasks, in about 3 minutes. No personal information or membership registration is required, and the results are displayed immediately.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ Information and Communications White Paper reports a generative AI adoption rate of 68.9%, while noting that many companies have yet to achieve tangible results. GENIAC has also identified ROI measurement as a challenge. As demand grows for tools that quantitatively assess the impact of AI adoption, the new simulator emphasizes the goal of linking talent development to business outcomes.
Through this tool, ビルスピ aims to support efforts to shift AI talent development from a “cost” to an investment that generates results. It also stated that, going forward, its policy will be to promote talent development that drives business and organizational transformation, rather than simply increasing the number of people able to use AI.
