The Japanese side raised 9 issues related to areas including transport, education, energy, taxation, science and technology, and retail.

He instructed officials to provide responses and updates on unresolved and new petitions through VCCI.
The government stressed that issues falling within the authority of specific agencies should be resolved promptly by those agencies, and indicated that regulations would be amended where necessary. It also asked the Japanese side to continue engaging in dialogue with Vietnam, share difficulties and recommendations, and work toward agreed solutions.
The prime minister also said that new-generation ODA should be promoted on a larger scale and with simplified procedures, focusing on areas including high-tech agriculture, strategic infrastructure, urban and high-speed rail, the green transition, digital transformation, semiconductors, and high-quality human resources development.
