The latest version of ExtraConsole ID Manager, Version 6.6, will be released at the end of October, adding integration with the cloud storage service Box. Box integration will enable the automatic issuance of Box accounts, their automatic deactivation when users graduate or leave the company, and automatic assignment to groups based on affiliation, which is expected to reduce administrative work and the risk of unauthorized access.
As a security update, an AD password hook feature will be added to reflect passwords changed in Active Directory across other services. A maintenance mode that enables login restrictions to be configured during maintenance periods, as well as a feature for monitoring the health of integration agents, will also be introduced.
