Japan Airlines (JAL) has opened applications for an overseas internship in business planning roles. The program will be held in person over 3 days at two locations, San Francisco and London. The San Francisco program is scheduled for January 2027 and the London program for February, and it is open to students enrolled in or studying abroad at local 4-year universities or graduate schools.
Against the backdrop of increasing globalisation, Japan Airlines (JAL) has opened applications for an overseas internship. The program is intended to make it easier for students studying abroad to participate in internships at Japanese companies. JAL says it received a favourable response after holding Japan’s first such program last fiscal year.
This year’s program will be held in person over 3 days to provide more practical learning. It will take place in two cities, San Francisco, United States, and London, United Kingdom. Participants will deepen their understanding of global business through site visits, departmental introductions, discussions with employees and discussions among students. The program is designed to give participants hands-on exposure to the operations of overseas locations and help them experience the appeal and essence of business planning roles at a Japanese company.
The internship will be held in person. The San Francisco program will run from 19 to 21 January 2027, while the London program will take place on one of the dates in February 2027. It is open to students enrolled in or studying abroad at local 4-year universities or graduate schools. Applications are available through JAL’s dedicated webpage.
