Lister published the “US Physical AI Companies Landscape Map” on a dedicated website, based on a survey of 142 major US companies involved in physical AI. The companies span 12 categories, including AMRs, logistics and transport robots. Lister selected 50 companies for inclusion based on their commercialization and implementation status and their importance to Japanese companies.
The report organizes the maturity of each company’s commercialization and implementation into 6 levels, from M0 to M5, to show how extensively its technology is being used in the field. The assessment is based on factors including progress from PoCs to customer deliveries and the status of deployment across multiple sites.
The report aims to provide a view of the industry structure by organizing 1,742 relationships between companies, including investment relationships, customer relationships, technology collaborations, strategic partnerships, sales, supply and manufacturing, as well as 429 activities such as PoCs, commercial deployments and live operations.
Connections with the Japanese market are classified into 5 levels, covering the establishment of Japanese subsidiaries or distributors, domestic PoCs, paid sales and production operation. The detailed database covering all 142 companies is provided free of charge and is intended for uses including the search for potential future collaboration partners.
