フェリシモ raised its consolidated first-half ordinary profit forecast from the previous ¥140 million to ¥260 million, implying a 6.1% year-on-year increase. The full-year ordinary profit forecast was left unchanged.
フェリシモ announced after the market close on 1 October that it had revised consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027 (March-August) from ¥140 million to ¥260 million. Ordinary profit was ¥240 million in the same period of the previous year, resulting in an outlook for increased profit.
The full-year ordinary profit forecast was left unchanged at the previous ¥320 million, while the revision reflected the impact of foreign exchange gains. The forecast for interim net profit is also expected to exceed the previous forecast as a result of the increase in ordinary profit, although the full-year forecast itself has not been changed.
The stated reason for the revision was the recognition of foreign exchange gains resulting from currency movements. The figures for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027 were also presented on the announcement date, with the company explaining that the current outlook includes uncertainties at this point.
The principal figures in the announced revision also set out the variance from the initial revenue and ordinary profit forecasts, together with the revised figures for each item and the new cumulative first-quarter levels.
