日本キャタピラー合同会社 announced that Matsushita Taro (松下 太郎) had been appointed Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO effective 1 October 2026. He previously served as Vice President and General Manager, Northeast Asia, APAC, at Johnson Controls.
日本キャタピラー合同会社 disclosed that Matsushita Taro (松下 太郎) had taken office as Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO effective 1 October 2026.
After graduating from Keio University Faculty of Law, Matsushita Taro (松下 太郎) earned an MBA from Purdue University in the US. After working for major Japanese manufacturers and foreign pharmaceutical companies, he joined GE in 2005, and went on to serve as president and representative director of GE Fuji Electric Meter and Managing Director of Accenture's Digital division. He was appointed president and representative director of Johnson Controls K.K. in April 2025 and has now become CEO of 日本キャタピラー合同会社.
As part of the change in officers, it was also disclosed that the position of Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO changed from Honda Hiroto (本田 博人) to Matsushita Taro (松下 太郎), effective 1 October 2026.
