遠州トラック released its earnings after the market opened on 5 November. Consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second-quarter period (April-September) of the fiscal year ending March 2026 was ¥1.45 billion, up 2.0% year on year.
Progress against the full-year target was 45.6%, broadly in line with the five-year average of 46.5%.
Consolidated ordinary profit for the latest three months, the July-September period, was ¥660 million, up 1.5% year on year. The operating margin on sales was essentially flat at 5.1%, compared with 5.1% in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
Based on its first-half results and unchanged full-year target, the company estimates consolidated ordinary profit for the October-March period at ¥1.74 billion, up 3.8% year on year.
