Sukedachi has announced that it will participate as a gold sponsor of Designship 2026, one of Japan's largest design conferences. The event will be held on Saturday, 10 October 2026 and Sunday, 11 October 2026, at Tokyo Midtown Hall.
During the event, Sukedachi will set up a special booth in the corporate booth area and present the work of its design organization in promoting updates to the construction industry, as well as design processes spanning product, vision and culture. A forum will also be provided for visitors to engage directly with examples of the design organization's work.
The speaking session will focus on the case of transforming a department centered on internal commissioned work into a design organization. It will be led by Sugiyama Miyu (杉山 弥優), head of the Product Department in the General Development Division. The session is scheduled for 16:00–16:10 on 10 October 2026 and will explain the process and trial and error involved in a design organization driving the business and culture.
Sukedachi's mission is to "make construction sites attractive workplaces," and the company decided to sponsor the event because it shares Designship's philosophy. Going forward, it aims to expand services that support solutions to workforce issues in the construction industry by communicating more broadly about the work and culture of its design organization.
