日本国土開発 invested in Australia's Centuria Sydney CBD Prime Office Fund and acquired a 50% interest in 680 George Street and 50 Goulburn Street in Sydney's CBD. The company plans to continue expanding its overseas real estate investments.
日本国土開発 announced on the 17th that it had invested in the Centuria Sydney CBD Prime Office Fund, a real estate fund managed by Centuria Capital Group. The fund has acquired partial interests in the properties located in a prime area of Sydney's CBD.
The acquired properties comprise the 40-story 680 George Street and the 4-story 50 Goulburn Street. The site area is approximately 3,476 square meters and the lettable area is approximately 67,709 square meters. Both properties are located within World Square, and occupancy was 88.2% as of the end of March 2026.
Sydney is Australia's largest economic city and is expected to achieve sustained medium- to long-term growth, supported by population growth and infrastructure development. The market environment for high-quality office assets in the CBD is expected to support future increases in asset value.
This investment forms part of the investment policy for growth areas set out in 日本国土開発's three-year Medium-Term Management Plan 2027 and is its 2nd overseas real estate investment. The company said it aims to enhance corporate value through real estate investment, primarily in Asia and Oceania.
