カウリス raised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026. Fraud Alert, its core product, is driving new customer acquisition and additional deployments by existing customers, while expansion of transactions using Grid Data KYC is also expected to contribute.
At its briefing on second-quarter results, カウリス said it had raised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026. Year-on-year growth in revenue and profit was strong, with new customer acquisition and additional deployments by existing customers through cross-selling making a particularly strong contribution.
Financial highlights included contract wins of ¥210 million, a contract backlog of ¥1 billion, ARR of approximately ¥157 million, net additions to MRR and an improvement in ARPU. Revenue growth was approximately 21.8%, while the operating margin was approximately 34.7%, highlighting the results of flexible investment in human resources.
To support new customer development and cross-selling, the company is expanding sales of Grid Data KYC. It established a Fukuoka office in March to strengthen the creation of sales opportunities throughout western Japan. Fraud Alert is also being expanded to meet demand for real-time detection, including functions for monitoring deposits and withdrawals and device behavior.
Over the medium to long term, the company plans to expand sales of Grid Data KYC and deepen relationships with existing Fraud Alert customers, while strengthening anti-money-laundering measures through the use of AI and public-private cooperation. Under its assumptions for the 2028 revenue target, the company expects growth that incorporates the contribution of Grid Data KYC and aims for revenue of more than ¥3 billion and a high operating margin of over 40%.
