Acer Japan has launched two 15.6-inch Aspire Lite 15 models. Both feature Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processors, 16GB of memory, a 512GB SSD and a Full HD IPS display.
Acer Japan announced the launch today of two 15.6-inch Aspire Lite 15 models in its standard Aspire Lite laptop series. The CPUs are the Ryzen 5 7430U and Ryzen 7 7730U, while both models feature 16GB of memory, a 512GB SSD and a Full HD IPS display, with specifications designed for everyday use.
The only difference between the two models is the CPU: the N56Y features the Ryzen 5 7430U, while the N76Y features the Ryzen 7 7730U. Both are configured for use at home, including web browsing, email, document creation, online learning, video streaming and video calls. Graphics are handled by the AMD Radeon graphics integrated into the processor.
The display is a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1080. It has wide viewing angles and a non-glare design to reduce reflections. The laptop weighs approximately 1.49kg, is approximately 18.6mm thick and comes in light silver. Battery life is approximately 8 hours. The display also supports shared viewing with a 180° flat-opening hinge.
The front-facing camera is an approximately 2.07-megapixel Full HD webcam with a sliding privacy cover. Built-in speakers and 2 microphones support online meetings. Connectivity includes 2 USB-C ports, 3 USB-A ports, HDMI, a microSD card reader and a headset jack. The laptops also support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
Sales will begin through Amazon, the official Acer online store and Acer Direct on Rakuten Ichiba and Yahoo! Shopping. Utilities including AcerSense provide integrated management of settings, status checks and usage-mode changes.
