学研ココファン, NEUSOFT Japan and Neucare Health Technology, all group companies of 学研ホールディングス, have entered into a basic agreement on a strategic partnership covering digital transformation and human resources development in the care sector. A signing ceremony was held on 15 October 2026, with specific collaborative initiatives to be pursued going forward.
The 3 companies aim to address challenges in care settings, enhance services and develop systems for education and human resources development, primarily in Japan and China. By drawing on their respective strengths, they seek to create sustainable value through both care technology and workplace education.
The main areas of collaboration are care technology and care-worker training. In care technology, they will consider using AI, ICT, sensing and monitoring technologies. In care-worker training, they will consider developing a training model that integrates educational resources with knowledge from care settings.
As an initial priority, NEUSOFT Japan and 学研ココファン will promote the introduction and use of Lumiwell, a contactless millimeter-wave radar monitoring system, at senior housing facilities. With a view to deployment in both Japan and China, they will work to enhance the product, services and operating model.
