CheeseTable-carnival-KOPIS Kichijoji, operated by SLD Entertainment Inc., has begun takeaway sales of popover cream puffs. The lineup comprises Hokkaido fresh-milk whipped topping and Hokkaido fresh-milk whipped topping with custard cream.
The popovers are filled with cream until their openings are nearly forced apart and have the appearance of round choux pastry. Larger than an adult’s fist, they are presented as sweets designed to excite customers even before they take a bite.
The popover cream puffs are available exclusively for takeaway, with in-store sales also planned. Both varieties are priced at ¥480 including tax. Reservations are accepted.
