HKS has launched the Head Gasket Kit E/G OH, which brings together the components required when overhauling an RB26DETT engine. In addition to metal intake, exhaust and cylinder-head gaskets, the kit contains related short parts, providing all the components required when assembling the engine in one package.
Included parts include the HKS GROMMET TYPE HEAD GASKET KIT SUPER COOLING t=1.0, a metal throttle-body gasket, reinforced valve-stem seals, various gaskets around the oil seals, aluminum plugs and O-rings for the oil cooler, among many others. The NOK fluororubber O-rings provide heat and oil resistance, while replacing the rubber plug at the rear of the cylinder head with an aluminum part helps reduce the risk of it coming loose.
