The general director of Ben Che Pharmaceuticals (DBT) announced his resignation approximately 3 months after taking office and registered plans to sell all his shares. The formal retirement date from the CEO position is set for 1 November 2026.
Nguyen Khac Hanh (グエン・カック・ハイン) submitted his resignation as general director of Ben Che Pharmaceuticals to the board of directors just over 3 months after taking office and is scheduled to leave the CEO position on the same date. The retirement date is set for 1 November 2026.
Hanh (ハン) cited his intention to focus on long-term strategy as the reason for his resignation, indicating that he plans to review his previous management roles in a way that removes him from day-to-day operations. Since 2022, he has held key positions including chairman of the board and vice president, and a major change in the management structure is reportedly scheduled for the end of 2026.
He will resign as a director and is also proceeding with the sale of all his shares in Ben Che Pharmaceuticals. According to transaction data, he has sold approximately 1.3 million shares from the beginning of 2026 to date, equivalent to 5.7% of the total shares outstanding. His current shareholding is 143,278 shares.
After submitting his resignation, he immediately completed the registration of the sale of his remaining shares, which is expected to take place between 5 October and 3 November 2026. Once the sale is completed, Hanh (ハン) is expected to hold no shares in the company.
