日本石油輸送 (JOT) announced that it will resume sales through its official online shop of “Tank Tea,” a bottled beverage printed with Taki 1000 car numbers and home station names. Resale will begin at 12:00 on 16 October 2026, with orders scheduled to ship within 5 business days.
“Tank Tea,” the bottled beverage sold by 日本石油輸送 (JOT), is 500 ml of sencha. Its labels are printed with actual car numbers from Taki 1000 railcars, including “1000-1” and “1000-80,” as well as home station names such as Hama-Goi Station and Koriyama Station. All 50 varieties are available, but customers cannot specify the car number.
For this resale, a 20-bottle set will be sold for ¥5,600, a 6-bottle set for ¥1,680 and a 3-bottle set for ¥840, all including tax. Orders are scheduled to ship within 5 business days. The product page also includes humorous instructions modeled on tank cars.
