GMO Media will offer the second digital practice exam for “Information I,” with questions created using AI, free of charge to high school students nationwide. The exam will be administered in a computer-based testing (CBT) format, with automated scoring and an analysis report provided after the exam.
The second “Information I” digital practice exam will feature entirely original questions created by GMO Media using AI and supervised by Jikkyo Shuppan. The exam will be held from 1 December 2026 to 20 December 2026, with applications from participating schools accepted from 15 October 2026 to 27 November 2026. The previous exam was attended by 3,043 students from 49 schools nationwide.
The exam will be administered in a computer-based testing (CBT) format on the educational DX service KoeTech Study byGMO, with scoring and tabulation automated. An analysis report covering the overall participant rankings, rankings within each school and results by question will be provided to help identify students’ weak areas and support their use in classroom instruction. Schools that do not use KoeTech Study can also participate free of charge with a trial account.
As a feature of the digital practice exam, the 45-minute CBT-format exam can be administered according to each school’s schedule, with scoring and tabulation automated on the same service. An analysis report will be provided after the exam to help students and teachers assess learning progress and support instruction. Students can use the new questions to check their level of understanding and weak areas before the actual examination.
KoeTech Study byGMO itself is an educational DX service that centrally manages the delivery, scoring and analysis of Information I questions in CBT format. In addition to more than 5,000 pre-recorded questions, it offers functions for generating new questions with generative AI and importing existing questions, with the aim of reducing the burden on teachers of creating questions.
