NIPPN, which has reached its 130-year milestone, is revamping its brand strategy. The company announced the new master brand “NIPPN Irodori Gohan” and plans to launch all 18 products on the market during the 2026 autumn-winter season.
Founded in 1896, Nippon Flour Mills has expanded its business into areas including premixes and frozen foods. After changing its corporate name to NIPPN in 2021, the company set out to strengthen technology and consumer-focused manufacturing ahead of its 130-year milestone. President Otao Toru (大田尾亨), who took office in June, is encouraging employees to take specific actions under the themes of challenge and reform.
The new brand “NIPPN Irodori Gohan” was launched as a unified brand in September, responding to consumers’ latent need to prepare a staple food and a main dish at the same time and to the expansion of the frozen one-plate meal market. The products incorporate features designed to reduce uneven heating, including dedicated rounded containers and the arrangement of ingredients.
The company has adopted a strategy to strengthen the connection between its corporate and product brands, based on well-being and a sustainable food supply chain. Drawing on its 130-year history, it is using its diverse business portfolio, which spans the value chain from upstream to downstream, to pursue initiatives aimed at shaping the future of food.
At a presentation held at the head office on 4 August 2026, President Otao (大田尾), who took office in June, announced the new brand name and logo and outlined plans to develop it as the “second master brand” after Ohmy Premium. The 18 products include a broad lineup of Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine.
