ASUENE added CBAM-compliance functionality to its LCA/CFP calculation service ASUENE LCA, enabling centralized management of data such as factory information and CN codes and automatic transfer to the EU communication template.
ASUENE Inc. has begun offering a function in its LCA/CFP calculation service ASUENE LCA that enables centralized management of information required for EU CBAM compliance. This allows a wide range of data, including emissions by product, site information and CN codes, to be registered and maintained in a single operation. Registered data is automatically transferred to the communication template published by the EU.
CBAM compliance is expected to help manufacturers exporting iron- and aluminum-based components streamline data aggregation and submission, while improving data integrity and traceability. The CBAM covers 6 sectors, and the background to the initiative was explained as one in which data preparation has become an urgent priority.
New features in ASUENE LCA include centralized data intake, automatic integration with the EU-designated format, and log management without relying on Excel, improving reliability. These features support reductions in the work required to prepare reports and improvements in the traceability of data changes.
