Against a backdrop of Japan’s declining birth rate, aging population and shrinking workforce, addressing labor shortages and improving productivity have become urgent priorities, increasing interest in the use of AI. However, adoption by Japanese companies remains limited. Industry-specific AI, also known as Vertical AI, is expected to grow in the AI market, although adapting overseas services for Japanese companies presents challenges.
AI Shift identifies four key features: comprehensive research and selection of industry-specific AI solutions from around the world; proprietary evaluation based on global marketing expertise; implementation support including Japanese-language localization, education and training; and ongoing support to help embed AI use within organizations.
The first offering for real estate brokerage firms is expected to cover applications including AI property valuation, AI property listing, AI home staging, AI lead generation and AI customer service. The company also plans to build up a track record and expertise, expand into other industries and launch a specialist media platform tentatively titled “Vertical AI.”
