CHANGE Holdings has brought AI development company アウターク into its group, with アウターク’s Nishiyama Mizuki (西山瑞生) set to become CAIO of the CHANGE Holdings group. The company plans to accelerate productivity improvements and the digitalization of operations at Japanese companies by combining AI-native development capabilities with the group’s network.
CHANGE Holdings acquired shares in アウターク, which provides AI-based systems development and operational transformation support, making the company part of its group. In addition, アウターク’s representative director, Nishiyama Mizuki (西山瑞生), was appointed CAIO of the CHANGE Holdings group to promote the use of AI across the group.
アウターク focuses on using AI to transfer technical knowledge and reduce reliance on individual employees in legacy industries, providing consulting and systems development as an integrated service. Its model is built around AI automation of internal development processes, enabling services to be delivered in shorter timeframes and at lower cost.
The synergies expected from bringing the company into the group include deploying アウターク’s AI development capabilities across group companies, expanding the provision of AI solutions by leveraging CHANGE Holdings’ relationships with companies and local governments, and developing practical solutions by combining industry knowledge with AI technology. Human resources development and the promotion of digitalization are also positioned as objectives.
アウターク combines three layers: an AI platform, a suite of industry-specific AI engines, and an operations and improvement loop. It provides modules for such applications as converting internal data into an ontology, building RAG platforms, AI chatbots, drawing analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection. Initially, it will use a customer support model that includes no-cost PoCs, targeting rapid implementation and continuous improvements in accuracy.
Going forward, CHANGE Holdings and アウターク will work together to accelerate AI-driven business transformation across the group. Through initiatives to convert the knowledge and data held by companies and local governments into value, the group aims to contribute to higher productivity and sustainable growth across Japan.
