Apple has reportedly been planning to launch up to three Ultra-branded products over the next six months, with iPhone Ultra and AirPods Ultra expected to debut simultaneously in September and MacBook Ultra expected in early 2027.
Apple is reportedly expected to launch up to three new products bearing the Ultra name, which denotes its top tier, over the next six months or so. A foldable iPhone and new AirPods could debut simultaneously in September.
The foldable iPhone is provisionally being called iPhone Ultra. It is expected to be announced in the first half of September, with sales likely to begin after the announcement. Details including the display configuration and biometric authentication specifications are reportedly still undecided.
AirPods Ultra are reportedly being developed with a small infrared camera that could work with Siri's Visual Intelligence feature. They are expected to go on sale by the end of the year, potentially as early as September.
The third product, MacBook Ultra, is reportedly scheduled to launch in early 2027. It is expected to feature an OLED display and touch controls while using an M5-series chip, and may also come with built-in 5G.
