ふくおかFG has signed an AI partnership agreement with 日本IBM and is expected to accelerate the redesign of banking operations on an AI-first basis. The companies are expected to strengthen the development of AI agents, implementation of customer-facing AI and safety management for AI operations.
ふくおかフィナンシャルグループ (FG) announced that it had entered into an AI partnership agreement with 日本IBM. The agreement is intended to accelerate AI-first organizational transformation in response to advances in generative AI.
The collaboration will involve building AI agents to support corporate and individual sales and implementing customer-facing AI agents. The companies will also establish governance functions and system infrastructure for the safe operation of AI and conduct demonstration tests aimed at upgrading core banking systems.
The two companies have been collaborating on digital transformation since November 2022 and will strengthen their partnership under the new agreement. They aim to implement “AI Concierge” for customers and “AI Buddy” for employees, with a view to improving customer service and operational efficiency.
