On 10 September 2026, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced the restructuring of its Japan operations, outlining plans to enhance global competitiveness while responding to the diversification of the domestic market and reducing foreign-exchange risk. The company will expand its product lineup, including through the launch of new vehicles, while strengthening the competitiveness of domestic production. The company also referred to rising evaluations of existing models such as the Roox, LEAF, Kicks and Elgrand, and plans to launch global B-segment vehicles, including the new Skyline and Patrol.
