Google announced that its new Gemini-powered AI agent feature, “CC,” will expand into Australia and New Zealand. A public waiting-list page is now available, and registrants are expected to begin receiving invitations on a rolling basis from today.
CC is presented as a productivity feature that integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and the web at large to deliver a morning email briefing consolidating each day’s schedule, key tasks and the latest information. It is currently available as an early-access version in the US and Canada, with AU/NZ being added as new markets.
The timing of the rollout in 2030 and the timing of any expansion into Japan have not been announced, but the waiting list is currently open to registrations from Japan.
