FP Corporation and 両備ストア announced the Eco Store Collaborative Declaration, setting a target of strengthening horizontal recycling with stores serving as collection and dispatch points and reducing annual CO2 emissions by 80t by the fiscal year ending March 2027.
FP Corporation and 両備ストアカンパニー jointly announced the Eco Store Collaborative Declaration. Covering all 14 両備ストア stores, the declaration aims to strengthen inter-store recycling as an integrated circular initiative.
As part of its initiatives before and after the declaration, 両備ストア has continued collecting used food trays through collection boxes at its stores. In the fiscal year ending March 2026, collections totaled 13.7t, and the use of FP Corporation’s eco-products made from recycled collected materials on store shelves contributed to a 66t reduction in CO2 emissions.
Before the declaration, in June 2025, 両備ストア centralized the recycling of collected trays with FP Corporation, achieving horizontal recycling. In May 2025, it also switched from general-purpose trays to eco-products to expand CO2 emission reductions.
Through these new initiatives, FP Corporation and 両備ストア are targeting an annual reduction of 80t in CO2 emissions in the fiscal year ending March 2027 and will contribute to promoting the circular use of resources in the region and globally.
