Huawei Japan unveiled new products, including 4 smartwatch models and fully wireless earbuds, at its new-product launch event for the second half of fiscal 2026. The products will go on sale on 29 October, with pre-orders starting on 21 October. Information was also provided on related collaboration products and a new after-sales service centre.
The event showcased the new smartwatch lineup, comprising the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro, HUAWEI WATCH GT 7, HONMA×HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Pro NEW and HUAWEI WATCH 6, along with the fully wireless HUAWEI FreeBuds Neo earbuds and ear-cuff-style HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S. Plans were also disclosed to open Japan’s first company-operated after-sales service centre. Aoi Kimura and MIYAVI appeared at the event and shared their impressions of using the actual products.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro enhances its golf, skiing and cycling features, and supports maps for more than 3,000 ski resorts in 59 countries for skiing and snowboarding. It records skiing data such as G-Force, and can share resort information through integration with yukiyama, one of Japan’s largest apps in the field.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 is the standard model in the GT series and supports multiple workout modes, as well as the new Body Status feature. It comes in 46 mm and 42 mm sizes, with multiple colour options for each. Pre-orders start on 21 October, and sales begin on 29 October.
The new-series fully wireless earbuds, HUAWEI FreeBuds Neo, feature ambient-noise reduction and LDAC support, with up to approximately 40 hours of playback. The ear-cuff-style HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S has a lightweight, secure design and a premium charging case. It comes in 3 colours and is priced at ¥17,380 and ¥32,780, respectively, including tax.
The HUAWEI Official Service Center, Japan’s first company-operated after-sales service centre, is scheduled to open in Akihabara on 23 October. It will provide repair intake, software support and usage consultations from specialist staff. MIYAVI also made a surprise appearance at the event, where demonstrations of the products were introduced.
