A special exhibition commemorating The North Face’s 60th anniversary has opened on the first floor of Goldwin Inc.’s Tokyo Headquarters in Kita-Aoyama. The exhibition explores the history and future of nature and exploration through 10 stories of exploration.
A special exhibition, “NEVER STOP EXPLORING EXHIBITION,” commemorating the 60th anniversary of THE NORTH FACE’s founding will be held on the first floor of Goldwin Inc.’s Tokyo Headquarters in 3-chome Kita-Aoyama, in the Omotesando and Harajuku area. It will run from 1 to 31 October 2026 at Seihō Building, 3-5-6 Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
With the subtitle “Exploring with Nature,” the exhibition explores the brand’s philosophy and practice through 10 stories of exploration that demonstrate an approach to exploring together with nature. “SILENTWARMTH,” for example, presents prototypes using advanced technology that treats air as a material and proposes a vision for the future of expedition apparel.
“CROSSOVER” looks back at the history of collaborative products since the 2000s, while “LITTLEWILD” and other workshops for children focus on water. The related film “EXPLORING WITH NATURE” will also be screened, using interviews with 10 people to examine the significance of exploring together with nature. Screenings will be held at the venue daily during the exhibition from 18:30.
Admission is free, but advance registration is required. Opening hours during the exhibition are 11:00–19:00, with screenings beginning at 18:30. Information on the venue, admission requirements and related URLs is also provided.
