エバーブルーテクノロジーズ demonstrated ebSwarm, a fleet management system capable of simultaneously monitoring and directing multiple general-purpose ground drones, at Japan Mobility Show 2026, and also announced new technology for electric blade equipment. Field testing is expected to begin in winter 2026 or later.
ebSwarm is a fleet management system for monitoring and directing multiple UGVs on a single screen, extending operation of the Android app ebConnect, which is designed for standalone operation, to multiple units. A single operator can manage multiple units simultaneously, with swarm tactics intended to expand the work area. Field testing is scheduled to begin in winter 2026–2027 at sites including snow-clearing operations.
New equipment has been developed with an electric actuator that raises and lowers the blade. Blade control for UGVs and snow-clearing drones will be deployed for both remotely piloted and autonomous driving systems, with the aim of improving the efficiency of pushing operations and automating work. In the future, driving control and blade control will be coordinated to enable blade operation according to conditions and avoidance of getting stuck.
Monitoring multiple UGVs with one operator requires recognition and assessment of the surrounding environment, and the company stated its policy of pursuing fully unmanned operation in the future. Development to further advance automation will proceed in line with the roadmap.
