Product Leaders AI 2026, a conference for product managers and CPOs focused on product leadership in the age of AI, will be held. Organized by the Japan CPO Association, the conference will focus on redesigning the roles of organizations, strategy and people. As the spread of AI raises questions about how conventional work should be conducted, the event will provide an opportunity to consider the significance of the PM role.
In featured sessions, EvenUp co-founder Saam Mashhad will discuss how to build AI products and establish trust, Wayfound’s Tatyana Mamut will present practical approaches to AI governance, and Amplitude’s Chris Yu will examine how the definition of the PM role is changing in the age of the generalist.
The event overview states that it will take place on 4 September 2026 (Friday), from 12:30 to 20:00, at Tokyo Port City Takeshiba Port Hall. The event is intended for CPOs, VPoPs, PMs, executives and people involved in product organizations, with registration available through the official website.
The Japan CPO Association was established in 2021 to connect product development in Japan with the rest of the world and raise the global standard of software products developed by Japanese companies.
