This overview covers an HKS-built monster machine created through an extensive modification of an export-spec Nissan Patrol at the request of a Dubai tycoon. It combines a large body measuring more than approximately 5 m in length and approximately 1.9 m in width with an engine producing 1,014 ps.
This overview covers a vehicle based on the fifth-generation Nissan Patrol that HKS extensively modified to a Dubai celebrity’s specifications. Designed around the export-specification 5-speed manual transmission, the vehicle received substantial upgrades over the domestic-specification 5-speed automatic, resulting in an imposing body measuring more than 5 m in length and over 1.9 m in width.
The engine was completely rebuilt from scratch as a one-off, with the bottom end strengthened using forged pistons, H-beam connecting rods and a full-counter crankshaft. The cylinder head uses a one-off camshaft with a 264-degree duration, while the surge tank is made of carbon fiber, and the radiator and intercooler were also designed as one-off units with increased capacity.
The turbocharger is a Garrett GT4508R, and engine management is handled by an F-CON V Pro. At a maximum boost pressure of 1.87 kg/cm2, the engine produces maximum output of 1,014 ps at 5,500 rpm and maximum torque of 141.8 kgf-m at 4,000 rpm. The vehicle weighs more than 2 tonnes, but its power-to-weight ratio reaches the 2 kg/ps range.
The drivetrain, including the transmission, was strengthened with one-off components, and the clutch was replaced with a metal triple-plate unit. A transmission-oil cooler is fitted in the rear overhang, while at the owner’s request, only the brake pads were replaced with Endless units.
