Nikon has announced the “Nikon Leather Business Card Holder Black × Red,” a leather business card holder inspired by the design of its cameras. It is made from textured domestic cowhide, with Nikon's signature red line foil-stamped on the flap. A Nikon logo is discreetly embossed on the inside. The product will go on sale on 2 November, finished by hand at a Tokyo leather-goods workshop and offered as a made-in-Japan product.
The product will be available exclusively through Nikon Direct at a listed price of ¥8,800 (tax included). Its material features a textured finish reminiscent of the surface of a camera body, while the interior is designed to combine practicality with a premium feel.
The design reproduces Nikon's signature red line through foil stamping, and the product is finished by skilled craftspeople by hand in Japan. Manufacturing takes place at a Tokyo leather-goods workshop, with its made-in-Japan quality presented as one of the product's selling points.
The product is positioned as an item that combines the functionality of a business card holder with Nikon's brand identity, bringing the company's design aesthetic into an everyday accessory.
