Bank of Yokohama announced that it will adopt the cloud-based integrated platform nCino to renew its personal loan operations platform. The process from application intake through screening and disbursement will be integrated into a single system, strengthening operational standardization and future scalability.
Bank of Yokohama has announced that it will adopt nCino’s integrated banking platform as the operating platform for its personal loans business. This will enable the process from application intake through screening and disbursement to be managed on a single platform, organizing previously dispersed workflows while pursuing more stable operations and faster processing. The bank will also automate routine checks and administrative procedures, creating a structure that allows its employees to focus on cases requiring advanced judgment.
Under the policies set out in Bank of Yokohama’s medium-term management plan, the bank aims to improve convenience through the use of digital technology while upgrading its business processes, thereby maintaining and strengthening its competitiveness over the longer term. It also aims to strengthen its stock-based business by redirecting human resources to customer-facing proposal activities.
The bank cited four reasons for its adoption: reducing workloads through an integrated platform, ensuring operational quality by visualizing standardized processes, maintaining stable operations with limited staffing, and providing scalability that allows the bank to continue incorporating technological advances.
Looking ahead, the bank plans to continue implementing technological innovations, including AI, in the platform while continuously evolving services tailored to the needs of customers in the region.
