ハートランド・データ announced that it had completed the acquisition of 日本ノーベル as a wholly owned subsidiary and would strengthen its quality engineering business by integrating the resources of both companies.
ハートランド・データ, which provides development support tools for embedded systems, became a wholly owned subsidiary of 日本ノーベル株式会社 on 31 August 2026, completing the formation of the group. Going forward, the two companies will combine their resources to provide comprehensive quality engineering solutions covering contracted development, quality support tools and consulting.
The group was formed against a backdrop of quality assurance and improved development efficiency becoming key corporate challenges as digital transformation accelerates and software becomes increasingly important. Under a shared group vision, the two companies will integrate their management resources to create new intellectual property and improve productivity.
Future business initiatives will focus on developing new products through joint development and expanding globally, promoting the use of AI technology across the group, ensuring stable service operations, and exhibiting jointly at trade shows. A joint exhibition is planned for Japan DX & AX Week in late October.
Under the new management structure, Shimoyama Itaru (下山 到), Representative Director of 日本ノーベル, will concurrently serve as Representative Director and President of ハートランド・データ, strengthening governance. Ochiai Ryo (落合 亮) will concurrently serve as Chair of the Board, and Sone Masahiko (曽根 正彦) as Vice Chair of the Board.
