ココナラ acquired shares in Acrosstudio and made it a subsidiary, launching a full-scale AI implementation consulting business. Acrosstudio will be positioned at the core of its AI company, expanding AI support for corporate customers.
ココナラ announced on 7 October 2026 that it would acquire shares in Acrosstudio株式会社 and make it a subsidiary. This will mark ココナラ's full-scale entry into corporate AI consulting, AI development and implementation support, and AI BPO services. Acrosstudio will be positioned at the core of the AI company, with the integration of its existing customer base and advanced implementation capabilities.
Acrosstudio reported strong growth, with revenue of ¥1.13 billion for the fiscal year ended June 2026 and a compound annual growth rate of 164% over the past 2 years. Its strength lies in FDE-model support, providing end-to-end services ranging from corporate strategy development through production system construction and support for bringing development in-house. ココナラ aims to address larger-scale corporate needs by combining its platform of more than 1.4 million registered skills providers with Acrosstudio's technological capabilities.
Going forward, the group plans to expand its AI BPO services, supporting customers from the upstream process of defining how AI can be used through development and adoption in the field. Acrosstudio will remain independent under its current management team. The earnings announcement is scheduled for 13 October 2026, when the company is expected to explain its specific business strategy.
Against the backdrop of stronger broad-based AI support for corporate customers, ココナラ plans to combine Acrosstudio's technological capabilities with its own talent platform to generate value from AI implementation.
