The arrangement will make it possible for customers to receive coverage for actual treatment costs through group insurance.
SBI Insurance Co., Ltd. and THE FUKUSHIMA BANK,LTD. announced a basic agreement to introduce group “SBI Insurance Cancer Insurance” during the current fiscal year for customers with accounts at THE FUKUSHIMA BANK,LTD. By offering the insurance as group insurance, cancer treatment costs are expected to be covered at premiums lower than those for ordinary insurance contracts. A key feature is that costs for advanced medical treatment and private treatment, which are not covered by public health insurance, are also eligible for coverage.
THE FUKUSHIMA BANK,LTD. and SBI Insurance have expanded their partnership through their websites to provide auto, cancer, overseas travel and fire insurance, among other products.
