Sakai Town’s drone field was recreated in virtual space, and validation was conducted using Space Data and ACSL ahead of deployment in the field. Validation is being advanced before actual operations using a 3DCG-based validation environment.
Sakai Town’s drone field was recreated in virtual space, and a 3DCG-based validation environment was established. This makes it possible to observe the drone’s behavior in the virtual environment before deployment of the actual unit.
Space Data and ACSL were used for validation before deployment in the field, and behavioral validation in the virtual space is under way. The validation is believed to have been conducted using NVIDIA’s Isaac Sim.
The purpose of this initiative is to reduce risks and improve validation accuracy before field deployment, as well as to confirm consistency with field data.
The materials, which include images and diagrams, present 3DCG representations alongside the name of the validation tool.
