UK-based airline consultancy Skytrax has announced the World Airline Awards honoring the world's best airlines for 2026. The awards are based on a customer satisfaction survey conducted worldwide by the company. Singapore Airlines took first place, making it the sixth time the airline has topped the awards in their history. Last year's winner, Qatar Airways, fell to second place.
The top 20 also included Cathay Pacific, All Nippon Airways (ANA), Turkish Airlines and Emirates, among others, with Air Canada the only airline from North America to rank in the list. Singapore Airlines also took first place in the Economy Class and Economy Class onboard catering categories.
Taiwan's STARLUX Airlines also drew attention, receiving a five-star rating and ranking first in the cabin cleanliness category. Japan's ANA and JAL were also among the top 20, while Qatar Airways won awards in multiple categories, including the top award for the Middle East.
