MeetToMatch The Tokyo Edition 2026 will take place from 17 to 20 September during Tokyo Game Show as an event designed to facilitate business meetings between overseas and Japanese companies. Meetings can be held at company booths and meeting points at Makuhari Messe, in rented meeting rooms and restaurants, or online via Zoom or Google Meet.
Companies based in Japan are invited free of charge, and participation applications can be completed by filling in the required information on the dedicated website. Registration may take 1–2 business days to complete.
Building on the results achieved in 2025, 361 companies had registered on the platform as of 2026. Japanese companies listed among the participants include Shochiku, Sega, Kodansha and Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The release includes a note stating that “MeetToMatch is not an official service of Tokyo Game Show and has no partnership with it,” while highlighting online participation and pre-arranged business meetings.
The organizers are encouraging participation regardless of English-language ability and indicate their intention to increase inquiries and business meeting opportunities from overseas developers and publishers.
