ニーズウェル has signed a reseller agreement with Varonis Systems and begun selling its data security platform in Japan. The partnership will support stronger data governance in response to data challenges in the era of generative AI and cloud services.
ニーズウェル has signed a reseller agreement with global data security company Varonis Systems and will begin selling Varonis products in Japan. This will accelerate the company's full-scale provision of a data security platform integrating data discovery, classification, access-rights optimization and threat detection.
The company has established a comprehensive data security support structure covering data visibility, access-rights optimization and ransomware protection, among other areas, and will strengthen its security management framework with a view to addressing the SCS assessment framework. It also plans to develop the business as a new growth engine linked to AI, DX and cloud services.
To expand its hands-on business model, the company will promote cross-selling to existing customers and the acquisition of new customers. It will strengthen an integrated support structure combining license sales, implementation support, SI and operational support, from pre-implementation assessments through operational adoption and proposals for continuous improvement.
Varonis is a data protection and governance platform that provides a cross-platform view of data stored on file servers, cloud storage, email and SaaS applications, and detects and remediates excessive access privileges and exposure risks. It has been deployed by approximately 8,000 companies worldwide and supports both on-premises and cloud environments.
