FIXER downgraded its consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026. The bottom-line forecast was revised from a loss of ¥1.56 billion to a loss of ¥2.47 billion, with the loss expected to erode 65% of net assets at the end of the previous fiscal year. The second-half forecast for the current fiscal year is also expected to show a deeper loss.
FIXER announced a revision to its consolidated results forecast for the fiscal year ending August 2026 after the market close on 1 September, revising its bottom-line forecast from a loss of ¥1.56 billion to a loss of ¥2.47 billion. The wider loss is expected to be equivalent to 65.0% of the company’s net assets at the end of the previous fiscal year.
At the same time, the company revised its consolidated second-half bottom-line forecast. The loss for the March–August period is now expected to widen to ¥1.22 billion from the previous forecast of a ¥310 million loss. The loss for the same period of the previous year was ¥1.75 billion.
The main reasons cited for the revision include expected revenue of ¥1,213 million, or 27.9%, below the previous forecast; delays in establishing the sales structure for the on-premises generative AI service “Sovereign GaiXer”; the impact of resource allocation related to rebuilding the cloud-based version of “GaiXer”; delayed start-up of Medical AI Solutions, the joint venture; failure to meet orders for project-based services; weak SaaS performance; and strong resale and managed services performance.
These factors are expected to reduce gross profit, while persistently high fixed costs are expected to contribute to the larger loss. Ordinary profit and net income were also revised accordingly, and the loss for the current fiscal year is expected to widen.
