This video summarizes Yamashita Yuichiro (山下 優一郎)'s account of why he left Fujitsu and joined Flyle as a founding member, including his move from a major company to a startup and the business background behind Flyle's digital-transformation initiatives and AI contact center.
Yamashita Yuichiro (山下 優一郎), who worked on rebuilding large-scale insurance systems at Fujitsu and also gained experience in offshore development from an India-based center, left Fujitsu in February 2020 and joined Flyle, which was then in its founding stage, in April of the same year. There were 4 founding members, and Yamashita has continued to play a role in leading Flyle's technology organization.
Flyle provides a digital-transformation support service that collects and analyzes customer feedback and voice data and presents the results on dashboards. It also operates a new AI contact center, responding to the requirements of major companies by abstracting customer requests and designing data schemas and processing infrastructure.
His decision to join was influenced by a previous experience in which efforts to promote digital transformation did not go well. He was seeking an environment where he could understand digital transformation himself from the company's founding stage and contribute to the organization. His relationship with the founder and the opportunity to join at the founding stage as part of his post-resignation career planning were major factors, as he viewed it as a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
On the technology side, he explained that the company emphasizes integration testing over authoritative testing and applies its own testing framework to the frontend. To accommodate data diversity, it uses a design that builds a database on top of a database, along with fairness execution to achieve equitable resource allocation, in efforts to combine scalability and durability.
As its development approach in the AI era, the company emphasizes using tools such as Claude Code to devote most development time to design and architecture rather than coding work. It is currently advancing the product's evolution while strengthening its technical capabilities, centered on Flyle's enterprise customers.
