Bank of Innovation has announced a revision to its current fiscal-year earnings outlook. For the consolidated fiscal year ending September 2026, it expects sales of ¥12 billion, ordinary profit of ¥2.05 billion and net profit of ¥1.7 billion, with ordinary profit and net profit expected to decline from the previous fiscal year.
Bank of Innovation newly disclosed its previously undisclosed consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending September 2026 after the close of trading on 29 September. It announced expected sales of ¥12 billion, ordinary profit of ¥2.05 billion and net profit of ¥1.7 billion.
Under the new forecast, sales are expected to remain broadly flat to slightly lower year on year, while ordinary profit and net profit are expected to decline from the previous fiscal year's results. The company said the revision reflects higher costs associated with advancing growth investments, despite continued restraint in advertising and promotional expenses and ongoing cost management.
The company opened the Memento Mori web store on 15 June, and, as the share of payments made outside the app has increased, reflected the expected reduction in payment processing fees in its earnings forecast. As payments shift to the store, the burden of fees is expected to decline compared with payments made through the conventional app stores.
The revision is based on estimates for the consolidated fiscal year, and the percentages relative to the previous forecast are shown in the published materials.
