TAKACHIHO KOHEKI CO.,LTD., headquartered in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, announced that it had entered into a reseller agreement with U.S.-based XBOW and would begin domestic sales of the XBOW autonomous penetration testing platform. The platform enables AI to conduct application penetration testing autonomously and report vulnerabilities with supporting evidence.
Against this backdrop, application development is accelerating with the spread of generative AI, while attackers are also using AI to speed up vulnerability discovery. In anticipation of AI-enabled A2B attacks, there is a growing need to strengthen offensive security, which validates systems from an attacker's perspective.
Established in 2024, XBOW is an autonomous offensive security company. Its platform uses AI to investigate and devise attack paths like a penetration tester, then validate them through an independent verification process. In 2025, its autonomous system ranked first on HackerOne's U.S. leaderboard, outperforming humans.
The company raised $120 million in Series C funding in March 2026, taking its valuation above $1 billion. TAKACHIHO KOHEKI CO.,LTD. will primarily offer the product to companies that develop and operate their own web applications, SaaS products and mobile applications, with a target of implementation at 100 companies by fiscal 2030.
