Dentsu Soken will develop the first product in its GREENLIGHT strategic trade control solution series, equipped with AI agents, and begin providing it to domestic companies on 2 November 2026. Demonstration testing reduced the time required for export control classification by up to 97%.
Dentsu Soken announced that it had developed the first product in its GREENLIGHT (Greenlight) series of strategic trade control solutions with AI agents and would begin providing it to domestic companies on 2 November 2026 (Monday). The solution supports searches for and reference to information on export control laws and regulations, including Japan's Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, assists with export control classification under list controls, and centrally manages the grounds for determinations and approval histories.
The solution aggregates the latest export control information and enables an AI agent to refer to the relevant laws and regulations before presenting an answer with supporting grounds. It is intended to reduce the need to investigate multiple information sources individually and speed up information verification.
For export control classification, the AI agent compares uploaded information on goods and technology against list-control requirements and presents a preliminary determination and its supporting grounds. With the person in charge making the final determination, the solution aims to substantially reduce the time required for investigation and cross-checking.
In addition to determination results, the solution enables centralized management of specifications, referenced laws and regulations, supporting grounds and approval histories, assisting with reviews of past determinations, responses to changes in laws and regulations, and audits.
Dentsu Soken plans to expand the functions and services of the GREENLIGHT series and broaden its scope from export control classification to a wider range of strategic trade control operations.
