タウンズ announced a capital and business alliance with Asia Pathogenomics Co., Ltd. and outlined plans to jointly promote its infection mNGS business, centered on Japan and Taiwan. It will also expand the NGS testing capabilities of タウンズ クリニカルラボ.
After the morning close, タウンズ announced a capital and business alliance with Asia Pathogenomics Co., Ltd. (APG). APG uses metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) technology to detect and analyze pathogens, and provides high-precision infectious disease testing services using a region-specific pathogen genome database.
APG is the only company to have commercialized an infectious disease mNGS service approved by the Taiwanese government. The alliance aims to jointly promote the infectious disease mNGS business in Japan.
タウンズ said it plans to expand the NGS testing capabilities of its clinical laboratory, タウンズ クリニカルラボ, and accelerate the development of a next-generation outsourced testing service platform by leveraging APG's technology and track record.
