During the Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest 2026, Canon Marketing Japan Inc. will set up a professional photography experience area using the EOS R8 Mark II and RF lenses. Six popular cosplayers will serve as subjects, with numbered participation tickets distributed through an advance lottery.
Canon Marketing Japan Inc. will provide a professional photography experience area at the Ikebukuro Halloween Cosplay Fest 2026, held from 31 October to 1 November 2026. The sessions will use the latest mirrorless camera, the EOS R8 Mark II, and RF lenses, with popular cosplayers selected as subjects. Participation will be by advance application and lottery.
The photography experience area will run from 13:00 to 16:35 on Saturday, 31 October and Sunday, 1 November, at Ike-Sunpark in the Ikebukuro Station East Exit area. Loaner equipment will include the EOS R8 Mark II, RF100-300mm F2.8 L IS USM, and RF85mm F1.4 L VC M. Participation is free.
Multiple cosplayers are scheduled to appear on each of 31 October and 1 November. Numbered participation tickets will be distributed after lottery applications. Participants must register for a Canon ID, and the lineup may change without notice.
