The company plans to invest approximately ¥1 billion in the construction of the new plant and the installation of processing equipment, among other items. It was selected for the government's SME Growth Acceleration Subsidy program and is expected to receive approximately ¥500 million in subsidies. Against a backdrop of rising demand for matcha overseas, the company will work to expand production capacity, develop new products for overseas markets and cultivate sales channels.
Based on the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency's "100 Billion Yen Declaration," the company has set a target of ¥10 billion in sales for the fiscal year ending March 2035. Citing the expansion of production capacity as a key issue, it aims to substantially increase production through the development of the new plant.
