An opening ceremony was held at the Akita BPO Katagami Campus in Katagami, Akita Prefecture. Approximately 160 guests of honor attended to mark the company’s 40th anniversary and the relocation.
An opening ceremony was held at the Akita BPO Katagami Campus, a domestic BPO site opened by Prestige International Inc. on 1 August 2026. Approximately 160 guests of honor attended, including the governor of Akita Prefecture, the mayor of Katagami, representatives of surrounding municipalities and client companies.
The site is located at 1-5 Kitano Hasunuma Maeyama, Showa-Okubo, Katagami, Akita Prefecture, and has a total site area of approximately 53,000 square meters. The investment was approximately ¥5.1 billion. The campus includes a cafeteria, training facilities, an in-house nursery, a studio and an on-site power generator, with approximately 800 seats. About 300 people currently work there.
The Akita BPO Katagami Campus operates as one of the company’s 5 sites in Akita Prefecture, with an emphasis on creating an environment that supports local job creation and revitalization. The exterior design incorporates circles and gentle curves, and plans call for the site to serve as a community gathering place for markets and events.
The site concept, “Hachirogata Cycle,” focuses on the cycles of water and agricultural products, as well as the character of the local area, with the aim of creating a site where daily life and work are integrated.
